Additional information

Two GLP-studies are available for toxicity to aquatic plants other than algae and both of them were suitable for supporting purpose.

In the first supporting study (1999), the acute toxicity of test material to Lemna gibba was determined in a 14-day semi-static test according to OPPTS 850.4400 guideline. The 14-day NOEC of the test substance was determined to be 4.22 mg test item/L based on the nominal concentrations.

In the second supporting study (2000), the acute toxicity of test material to Lemna gibba was determined in a 14-day semi-static test according to OPPTS 850.4400 guideline. The 14-day NOEC and the ErC50of the test substance were determined to be 59 mg a.s./L and > 121 mg a.s./L, based on the mean measured concentrations, respectively.
