Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

EPA OPPTS 830.7840 (Water Solubility)
GLP compliance:

Type of method:
flask method
Water solubility:
0.327 g/L
Temp.:
20 °C
pH:
10
Details on results:
Average solubility after 24h: 0.319 g/L; after 48h: 0.332 g/L; after 72h: 0.329 g/L

The concentration of the test item in the samples was calculated in g/mL using the calibration curve. A calibration curve was plotted by linear regression analysis of the detector response (peak area) versus standard concentration. Sample concentrations were then calculated using the equation:

Sample concentration (µg/mL) = (peak area - intercept)/slope

The solubility was determined using the equation:

Solubility (g/L) = sample concentration (µg/mL) * dilution factor

The unit was converted to g/L.
