Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The adsorption/desorption potential of 2-hexyldecanoic acid[4-(6-tert-butyl-7-chloro-1H-pyrazolo[1,5-b][1,2,4]triazol-2-yl)phenylcarbamoyl]methylester (UM-235) to soil and sewage using HPLC was evaluated in a study by Brekelmans (2004). This test was conducted according to OECD Guideline 121 under GLP conditions. Because the substance is not ionized for more than 10% within pH 5.5 to 7.5, the mobile phase used during the HPLC method was not buffered. The resulting log Koc value was determined to be > 5.63 and the Koc > 43,000 at 35 °C.
