First-aid measures
Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing
Call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician if you feel unwell.
- Skin contact:
Remove/Take off immediately all contaminated clothing.
Wash with plenty of water.
If skin irritation occurs: Get medical advice/attention.
- Eye contact:
Rinse cautiously with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes.
Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to remove. Continue rinsing.
If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention.
- Ingestion:
Rinse mouth a number of times with water.
Get medical advice/attention if you feel unwell.
Fire-fighting measures
Use locally available fire extinguishers.
- Unsuitable Extinguishing Media:
- Specific method:
- Protection of fire-fighters:
On fire fighting, wear proper protective gloves/protective clothing/glasses.
Wear self-containing breathing equipment.
Accidental release measures
Wear adequate personal protective equipment: safety goggles or face-shield, protective rubber gloves, dust-protective mask, long-sleeved clothing, protective shoes
Keep unprotected persons at distance from the area of emergency.
- Environmental precautions:
Prevent from releasing to the drain, surface and ground water.
- Methods and materials for containment and cleaning:
Scoop up spillage.
If considered necessary cover the spillage with a layer of foam to prevent further spreading via dust formation.
Collect spillage into a suitable drum and dispose off as dangerous waste.
Handling and storage
- Technical measures:
Set up equipment to wash eyes and body near work place.
- Local and general ventilation:
Use adequate ventilation/suction in work areas.
- Precautions:
Use substance only in a well-ventilated area.
Prevent possibility to occurance of electrical discharge.
STORAGE
Keep container tightly closed.
Store in a well-ventilated place, cool and dry.
