Additional information

Experimental data are available for epoxiconazole from a ready biodegradability test according to OECD 301F (a manometric respirometry test), conducted with non-adapted, domestic activated sludge as inoculum (BASF AG, 1993). Under test conditions no biodegradation was observed (0% ThOD and COD was measured after 28 days, BASF AG, 1993). Moreover, the substance is considered to be hydrolytically stable in water (See IUCLID Ch. 5.1.2, BASF AG, 1991)

Based on the available experimental data, it can be concluded, that expoxiconazole is not readily biodegradable, according to OECD criteria.
