Toxicity to soil macroorganisms

Chronic toxicity:

The 56 -d NOEC (reproduction) was determined to be > 6.5 mg/kg soil dw in an OECD 222 GLP-guideline test with Eisenia fetida (Friedrich, 2005)

Acute toxicity:

The substance has an oral and contact LD50 values are > 83 and 100 µg/bee, respectively (EPPO guideline 170, Honeybee, Schur, 1999)

Toxicity to terrestrial plants

Chronic toxicity:

The NOAER (no observed adverse effect rate) for germination and plant height was 250 g/ha for all species. In terms of terrestrial ecotoxicity assessment the endpoint is a NOAER of 0.166 mg/kg dw. (BASF AG 2009; report no.: 2009/1114932).

Toxicity to soil microorganisms

Chronic toxicity:

No adverse effects of epoxiconazole on nitrogen transformation in soil was observed at both test concentrations after 28 days. The NOEC was determined to be higher than 63 mg/kg dw at the end of the test procedure (BASF SE, rep.no.: 2016/10000345, 2016).
