Melting point and thermal conversions determined by DSC:

The DSC plots show an endothermic melting peak at about 137°C (agrees to the capillary method). At c. 310°C an exothermic effect is observed which is interpreted as decomposition. There is no endothermic effect which is unrelated to the melting point. Therefore, sublimation or boiling of the test substance can be excluded.
