Description of key information

Density at 20 °C = typically 0.926 g/cm3

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Relative density at 20C:
0.926

Additional information

The density of the test substance was measured according to ASTM D4052 method and it is 0.926 g/cm^3 at T= 20 °C. According to the general principles of ASTM D4052 method a small volume (approximately 0.7 ml) of liquid sample is introduced into an oscillating sample tube and the change in oscillating frequency caused by the change in the mass of the tube is used in conjunction with calibration data to determine the density of the sample.
