Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Estimated vapour pressure carried out by MPBPWIN using modified Grain method as implemented in EPI Suite v.4.11 for Dioctyl phosphonate is 0.00214 Pa at T= 25 °C. The DSC analysis confirms that the substance is a liquid at T= 20°C with a melting point of -12.3 °C and its decomposition starts from 160.75 °C with a peak at 241.81 °C. Further investigations regarding the vapour pressure of the substance should not provide additional useful information and the predicted vapour pressure value is considered reasonable enough for the risk assessment of the substance.
