Results and discussion

Any other information on results incl. tables

In the presence of 2 -Chlorobenzothiazole (1 mg/3 mL) in the reaction mix, the degradation of 4 -Dimethylaminoazobenzene, which was used to monitor the potential of rat liver homogenates to metabolize azo dyes, was inhibited by approximately 80 %.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
2-Chlorobenzothiazole (slightly) inhibits the degradation of the azo dye 4 -Dimethylaminoazobenzene in rat liver homogenates
