Description of key information

PX-200 has been determined not to have oxidising properties as the test material/cellulose mixtures failed to propagate combustion.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Oxidising properties:
no

Additional information

The oxidising properties of the test material were determined by comparing the burining rates for mixtures of test material/cellulose with reference mixtures of barium nitrate/cellulose. The method was based on Method A17 of Commission directive 92/69/EEC (which constitutes Annex V of Council Directive 67/548/EEC).

PX-200 has been determined not to have oxidising properties as the test material/cellulose mixtures failed to propagate combustion.

Justification for classification or non-classification

The substance has been determined not to have oxidising properties as the test material/cellulose mixtures failed to propagate combustion.
