Additional information

A study was conducted according to ISO 2719 to determine the flash point of the substance. Using a Pensky-Martens apparatus the flash point was determined to be 116°C at 1013.25 hPa. In a supporting study according ISO 2719 a similar flash point of 112°C at 1013.25 hPa was determined. Furthermore a literature review was conducted. The GESTIS Database reports the flash point to be 100°C using a closed cup method and the Hommel handbook reports the flash point to be 115°C. All data are in the same range, and thus regarded as reliable. A flash point of 116°C was chosen as key value for chemical safety assessment.
