Justification for classification or non-classification

Based on the data available methyl-ethylketone peroxide no classification and labelling with regard to oxidising properties is required.

Methyl-ethylketone peroxide has to be classified and labeled as Organic Peroxide Type D with H242 (heating may cause a fire). Furthermore, methyl-ethylketone peroxide has be classified according to Directive 67/548/EEC (DSD) with R7 (May cause fire).
