Applicant's summary and conclusion

Validity criteria fulfilled:
yes
Conclusions:
The effective concentration od 6,8-Dichloroethylcaprylat and its degradation products based on nominal starting concentration, were EC0 5 mg/l; EC50 >5 mg/l; EC100 >5 mg/l after 48h
Executive summary:

Immobilisation of control group daphnids was 0% at the end of the tests (Guideline max 10%)

There were no daphnids trapped at the water surface.

At the end of the test the measured concentration of 6,8 -Dichloroethylcaprylat were below the level of reliable quanitification of 1 mg/l

Temperture was stable during the test period

Dissolved oxygen concentrations in the test vessels were not lower than 8.3 mg/l (EC guideline: higher than 3 mg/l)

The effective concentration od 6,8-Dichloroethylcaprylat and its degradation products based on nominal starting concentration , were EC0 5 mg/l; EC50 >5 mg/l; EC100 >5 mg/l

after 48h
