Administrative data
First-aid measures
General advice
- Plan first aid action before beginning work with this product.
- First aider needs to protect himself.
- In the case of accident or if you feel unwell, seek medical advice immediately (show the label where possible).
- Show this safety data sheet to the doctor in attendance.
- Place affected clothing in a sealed bag for subsequent decontamination.
In case of inhalation
- Move to fresh air.
- Keep at rest.
- Consult a physician.
In case of skin contact
- Take off contaminated clothing and shoes immediately.
- Wash off with soap and plenty of water.
- Wash immediately and thoroughly for a prolonged period (at least 15 minutes).
- If skin irritation occurs, seek medical advice/attention.
In case of eye contact
- Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes.
- Get immediate medical advice/ attention.
In case of ingestion
- Do NOT induce vomiting.
- Do not give anything to drink.
- Get immediate medical advice/ attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media
- All extinguishing agents can be used.
- Use extinguishing measures that are appropriate to local circumstances and the surrounding environment.

Specific hazards during firefighting
- Under fire conditions:
- Will burn
- (following evaporation of water)
- Harmful or toxic vapours are released.
- Do not allow run-off from fire fighting to enter drains or water courses.

- Contain the spilled material by bunding.
6.3 Methods and materials for containment and cleaning up
Recovery
- Contain spillage, soak up with non-combustible absorbent material, (e.g. sand, earth, diatomaceous earth,
vermiculite) and transfer to a container for disposal according to local / national regulations
- Keep in suitable, closed containers for disposal.
Decontamination/cleaning
- Wash non-recoverable remainder with large amounts of water.
- Recover the cleaning water for subsequent disposal.
Disposal
- Dispose of contents/ container to an approved waste disposal plant.
- Dispose of in accordance with local regulations.
Handling and storage
Provide adequate ventilation.
- This product must only be handled by skilled operators
- Reduce the duration of exposure to the minimum required.
- Avoid exposure - obtain special instructions before use.
- For personal protection see section 8.
- Avoid formation of aerosol.
- Avoid the formation or spread of mists in the atmosphere.
- Use only with adequate ventilation/personal protection.
- Do NOT handle without gloves.
- Do not mix with incompatible materials
- Smoking, eating and drinking should be prohibited in the application area.
- When mixed with additives (for example surfactants, dispersants, antifoams), the toxicity by inhalation may be
increased

- Prevent unauthorized access.
- Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place.
- Containers which are opened must be carefully resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage.
- Take all necessary measures to avoid accidental discharge of products into drains and waterways due to the
rupture of containers or transfer systems.
- Keep in a dry, cool place.
- Keep away from: Do not mix with incompatible materials (See list section 10).

Exposure controls / personal protection
Control measures
Engineering measures
- Avoid splashes.
- Effective exhaust ventilation system
- Facilities and equipment easily cleanable.
- Separate rooms are required for washing, showering and changing clothes.
Individual protection measures
Respiratory protection
- Use a respirator with an approved filter if a risk assessment indicates this is necessary.
- If mist is formed:
- Respirator with a particle filter (EN 143)
Hand protection
- The selected protective gloves have to satisfy the specifications of EU Directive 89/686/EEC and
the standard EN 374 derived from it.
- Please observe the instructions regarding permeability and breakthrough time which are provided
by the supplier of the gloves. Also take into consideration the specific local conditions under
which the product is used, such as the
ion, and the contact time.
Gloves must be inspected prior to use.
Gloves should be discarded and replaced if there is any indication of degradation or chemical
breakthrough.

Eye protection
- Tightly fitting safety goggles
- In case of contact through splashing:
- Wear face-shield and protective suit.
Skin and body protection
- Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye/face protection.
- Choose body protection in relation to its type, to the concentration and amount of dangerous
substances, and to the specific work-place.
- Remove and wash contaminated clothing.
Hygiene measures
- Regular cleaning of equipment, work area and clothing.
- Use clean, well-maintained personal protection equipment.
- Store personal protection equipment in a clean location away from the work area.
- Shower or bathe at the end of working.
- When using do not eat, drink or smoke.
- Keep working clothes separately.
- Contaminated work clothing should not be allowed out of the workplace.
- Wash hands before breaks and immediately after handling the product.
- The product must only be handled by specifically trained employees.
- The user is responsible for monitoring the working environment in accordance with local laws
and regulations.
Protective measures
- The protective equipment must be selected in accordance with current CEN standards and in
cooperation with the supplier of the protective equipment.
- Selection of appropriate personal protective equipment should be based on an evaluation of the
performance characteristics of the protective equipment relative to the task(s) to be performed,
conditions present, duration of use, and the potential hazards and/or risks that may occur during
use.
- Always have on hand a first-aid kit, together with proper instructions.
- Ensure that eye flushing systems and safety showers are located close to the working place.
Environmental exposure controls

Disposal considerations
Product Disposal
- The product should not be allowed to enter drains, water courses or the soil.
- Dispose of as special waste in compliance with local and national regulations.
- Dispose of wastes in an approved waste disposal facility.
Advice on cleaning and disposal of packaging
- Take preliminary precautions based on the dangerous properties of the product.
- Empty the packaging completely prior to disposal.
- Empty containers should be taken to an approved waste handling site for recycling or disposal.
- The user's attention is drawn to the possible existence of local regulations regarding disposal.
