Primary Dermal irritation test was performed on rabbits to evaluate the irritation potential of  4-Nonylphenol, branched, ethoxylated .

6 male & female rabbits were used for the study. 0.5 ml single application of 4-Nonylphenol, branched, ethoxylated ( Carsonon N-10, 5% Active in distilled water) under occluded patch was applied to abraded and non abraded skin of rabbits.The effects were observed at 24 and 72 hours and reactions were scored.

The Primary Dermal Irritation Index of 4-Nonylphenol, branched, ethoxylated was 0.0.
