The substance ignites by a hot flame from a gas burner, but the flame stops burning after less than 10 mm and 30 seconds of propagation. Therefore the combustion is beyond the specified time frame for flammability of 4 minutes for 200 mm. The main test is not necessary.

The substance is non-flammable as determined in the test according to EU Method A.10.
Based on experience in handling and use and the chemical structure, pyrophoricity and flammability on contact with water are not to be expected.
The substance is not self-heating, because it is a solid completely molten at the temperature of 160 °C.
Justification for classification or non-classification
According to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 on classification, labelling and packaging (CLP) of substances and mixtures, the substance is considered non-flammable based on the outcome of the test according to EU Method A.10.
Based on the chemical structure and experience in handling and use, pyrophoricity and flammability on contact with water are not expected.
