Description of key information

The particle size distribution, determined on the wet powder of Dibenzoyl Peroxide shows that the particles have a mean diameter of 135µm.

Additional information

Dibenzoyl Peroxide test item appears in the form of a wet white powder (25% of water).

The particle size determination has been conducted on this wet powder just after its dispersion in water (t0) and after few minutes in the dispersion media.

Immediately after immersion in water, the particles present a mean diameter of 135µm.

The evolution of the particle size distribution according to the resident time of the product in water show that the agglomerates of dibenzoyl peroxide break up when they are dispersed in water.
