Toxicity to terrestrial plants
Administrative data
- Endpoint:
- toxicity to terrestrial plants: long-term
- Type of information:
- experimental study planned (based on read-across)
- Justification for type of information:
- Refer to analogue justification provided in IUCLID section 13.
Since aquatic algae was the only trophic-level, which showed some (even though unclear) sensitivity to the substance, it was considered appropriate to perform a terrestrial long-term test with plants according to the OECD Guideline 208 (Terrestrial Plant Test: Seedling Emergence and Seedling Growth Test) in the terrestrial compartment. This test will be performed after a decision on the requirement to carry out the proposed test has been taken according to the procedure laid down in Regulation (EC) 1907/2006 and a deadline to submit the information required has been set by the Agency. The choice of the terrestrial test will be reevaluated, based on the results of the ongoing long-term niobium test with fish (OECD 210).
