No terrestrial data with diniobium pentaoxide are currently available. A testing proposal for the performance of a terrestrial long-term test according to the OECD Guideline 208 (Terrestrial Plant Test: Seedling Emergence and Seedling Growth Test) with the analogue substance niobium (CAS 7440-03-1) has been submitted. The test will be performed after the decision on the testing proposal according to the procedure laid down in Regulation (EC) 1907/2006 has been made by the Agency and a deadline to submit the information has been set. These appropriate test results are intended to be read across to the target substance diniobium pentaoxide in order to cover data requirements and assess the hazard towards the terrestrial compartment. The suggested read-across is justified in the analogue read-across justification provided in IUCLID section 13.2.
