Description of key information

Surface tension for a structural analogue, n-dodecenyl succinic anhydride, was 28.6 mN/m at 25 °C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Surface tension:
28.6

Additional information

The surface tension of tetrapropenyl succinic anhydride (TPSA) is estimated from that of a category member, n-Dodecenyl succinic anhydride (nDDSA). nDDSA was tested for surface tension using according to OECD 115 to be 28.6 nM/m. TPSA and other category members are surface active.
