Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Terrestrial toxicity testing in soil macro-organisms, soil arthropods, terrestrial plants and soil micro-organisms was not conducted. The substance does not have a high potential to adsorb to soil, based upon its experimentally-determined adsorption coefficient (Koc) of 825 L/kg (i.e., log Koc= 2.916), which is below the criterion that is indicative of strong binding to soil (i.e., log Koc> 4, in accordance with ECHA,Chapter R.7.a, “Endpoint-specific guidance”, Guidance on information requirements and chemical safety assessment, May 2008, Section R.7.1.15, p. 154).  In addition, when soil toxicity was evaluated on the basis of aquatic toxicity values and equilibrium partitioning, the risk characterization ratios for soil were below one, thus showing that exposures of organisms in the terrestrial compartment do not require further evaluation.
