Following Draft OECD Early life stage guidelines, results for Danio rerio, included a 7 day EC50 (total embryotoxicity (lethality and malformations)) = 54.8 mg/L (nominal), 7 day LC50 = 262 mg/L (nominal), 7 day LOEC (mortality): 320 mg/L (nominal) and 7 day LOEC (Total embryotoxicity): 100 mg/L (nominal) (Van Leeuven et al., 1990).

Several chronic studies are available in fish and aquatic invertebrates.  Following Draft OECD Early life stage guidelines, results for the 60 day study in Salmo gairdneri indicate the EC50 (Total embryotoxicity (lethality and malformations) was = 260 mg/L, 60 day LOEC (mortality):  320 mg/L, 60 day LOEC (total embryotoxicity): 320 mg/L, 60 day LOEC (length):  100 mg/L and 60 day LOEC (weight): 32 mg/L (Van Leeuven et al., 1990).
