Resorcinol in air is not expected to undergo direct photolysis, but may undergo indirect photolysis through hydroxyl radical oxidation. 

Resorcinol has no functional groups susceptible to hydrolysis under environmentally relevant pH and temperature conditions (Harris, 1990); hydrolysis is not expected to occur.
