Key value for chemical safety assessment

EC50 or LC50 for marine water sediment:
4 201 mg/kg sediment dw
EC10, LC10 or NOEC for marine water sediment:
2 198 mg/kg sediment dw

Additional information

One key study (reliability score of 2) exists which tested the toxicity of PR-4758 to the marine sediment dweller Corophium sp.. Due to the uses of the substance being mainly offshore this could be seen to be as a major compartment for the fate of the substance. But is also equally unlikely due to the high levels of solubility. The study was conducted in accordance with PARCOM 1994 guideance to GLP standards in a certificated laboratory. Validity criteria were met.
