Description of key information
Although respirable particles were measured, the risk of dust exposure is limitted. The commercial product is a granulated material. The substance is fixed in a matrix by embedding in polymer. The granulate size is approx. 1 cm in length and approx. 0.4 cm in diameter.
Additional information
Two studies according to appropriate standard guidelines are available. In the first the substance before embedding and in the second the commercial product embedded in polymer was analysed. Although respirable particles were measured with the native substance, the risk of dust exposure is limitted. The commercial product is a granulated material. The substance is fixed in a matrix by embedding in polymer. In the particle size distribution test with the commercial product no respirable particles were measured.
