Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

One study is available investigating the short-term effects of Bis(2,8,9-Trioxa-5-aza-1-silabicyclo(3.3.3)undecane-1-propane-)disulfide (CAS 883794-93-2) to aquatic invertebrates. The study was performed according to OECD 202 (GLP) with Daphnia magna as test organism. Nominal test concentrations up to 40 mg/L were tested. Inhibition of mobility was observed in this study. Thus, an EC50 (48 h) of 11.6 mg/L was calculated. Since the test substance is susceptible to hydrolysis in water, the result mainly reflects the effects of the hydrolysis products rather than the parent substance.
