Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

LC50 (14 d): > 1000 mg/kg soil dw for Eisenia fetida (OECD 207)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Short-term EC50 or LC50 for soil macroorganisms:
1 000 mg/kg soil dw

Additional information

One study is available investigating the short-term effects of Bis(2,8,9-Trioxa-5-aza-1-silabicyclo(3.3.3)undecane-1-propane-)disulfide (CAS 883794-93-2) to earthworms. The study was performed according to OECD 207 (GLP) with Eisenia fetida as test organism. A limit test with a test concentration of 1000 mg/kg soil dw was tested. No mortality was observed and an LC50 (14 d) of > 1000 mg/kg soil dw was derived. Since the test substance is susceptible to hydrolysis in water, the result mainly reflects the effects of the hydrolysis products rather than the parent substance.
