The flame was held on the test material for 2 minutes in which time the test substance melted. The test material melted and burned with a yellow flame when in contact with the ignition source but did not propagated along the pile when source removed. The result of the preliminary screening test obviated the need to perform the main test as it did not ignite and burn.
