Description of key information

Hydrolysis

In accordance to point 9.2.2.1 Column 2, Annex VIII of REACH Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006, this study does not need to be conducted when the test item is readily biodegradable.

Biodegradation in water: screening tests

In one key study according OECD guideline 310 it was shown that the test item is readily biodegradable. The pass level of 60 % was reached after 24 days. The biodegradation came to a maximum of 73 % after 28 days .The 95 % confidence interval on day 28 was 47 - 95 %. The validity criteria according to the guideline are fulfilled.

Biodegradation in water and sediment: simulation tests

In accordance with section 9.2 column 2 Annex VIII and IX of REACH Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006, this study does not need to be conducted when the test item is readily biodegradable.

Biodegradation in soil

In accordance with section 9.2 column 2 Annex VIII and IX of REACH Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006, this study does not need to be conducted when the test item is readily biodegradable.

Bioaccumulation

In accordance with section 9.3.2 column 2, Annex IX of REACH Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006, this study does not need to be conducted as the test item has a low potential for bioaccumulation (log Kow ≤ 3).

Transport and distribution

In accordance with section 9.3.3 column 2, Annex IX of REACH Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006, this study does not need to be conducted because based on the physicochemical properties, the test item can be expected to have a low potential for adsorption (log Kow ≤ 3).
