A study was performed in accordance with OECD TG 103 in order to determine the boiling point of the test item using the Siwoloboff method.


Automatic measurement of the l¡ght transmission is made using rising bubbles from the substance.


The boiling point capillary was filled 15 - 18 mm with the liquid and the following temperature program was achieved:


Start temperature: about 5 °C below expected boiling point


Temperature Ramp: 1.0°C /min


End temperature: max. 10 ° C above boiling point
