Additional information

The acute toxicity of 2-tert-butylaminoethyl methacrylate was assessed by exposing the fish species Danio rerio in accordance to OECD guideline 203 and GLP. Analytical measurement was performed and measured concentrations was within 80 -120% of the nominal values. The analyses quantification was based on tertiobutyl amino ethanol and not on the parent compound. The test concentrations were: 0, 100, 200 and 500 mg/L (nominal concentrations). After 96 hour of static exposure, 20 % mortality was observed in the highest dose (500 mg/L). In the highest dose, at the end of the test, fish also showed colorations signs. The LC50 value as calculated by Probits method was established to >500 mg/L at 96 h.
