Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Calculation

Measured temperatures were converted from °C to K using the following equation:

T = t + 273.15

where:

T = temperature (K)

t = temperature (°C)

Observations (Determination 1 & 2)

The test material did not change in appearance during cooling.

Conclusions:
The freezing temperature of the test material, that at which it completely solidifies, has been determined to be less than -20°C. The test material did not change in appearance during cooling.
Executive summary:

The freezing temperature of the test material was determined using EU Method A.1 (crystallisation point measure) in a GLP study.

The true freezing temperature, that at which it completely solidifies, has been determined to be less than -20°C (arithmetic mean of two determinations). On cooling, the test material did not change in appearance.

Description of key information

The freezing temperature of the test material was determined using EU Method A.1(crystallisation point measure) in a GLP study.

The true freezing temperature, that at which it completely solidifies, has been determined to be less than -20°C (arithmetic mean of two determinations). On cooling, the test material did not change in appearance.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The freezing point is <-20°C at 101325 Pa (EU Method A.1).
