Description of key information
In accordance with Annex X of the Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 REACH concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH), information regarding photo-transformation in air, as well as in water and soil, is not mandatory.
The hydrolytic stability of 2-propenoic acid, 2-fluoro, methyl ester at the environmentally relevant pHs of 4, 7 and 9 indicated that 2-propenoic acid, 2-fluoro, methyl ester was hydrolytically stable at pH 4 but was hydrolytically unstable at pHs 7 and 9, with estimated half-lives of 69.4 and 3.2 hours, respectively. It is anticipated that hydrolysis may be an important degradation route for the substance.Additional information
