Description of key information
Information on surface tension not relevant for As2O3. In accordance with Annex VII section 7.6 Column 2 of regulation (EC) 1907/2006) this study only needs to be conducted if based on the structure surface activity is expected or can be predicted. This is not the case for diarsenic trioxide, which is a solid. In water it dissolves readily yielding arsenite and arsenate ions, which are not capable of influencing surface tension. Based on these considerations, this study is waived.
