Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Executive summary:

According to the German standard methad "DIN 53019", which corresponds to OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals, Section 1 – Physical-Chemical Properties No: 114 “Viscosity of Liquids” (adopted, 12th May 1981) the dynamic viscosity of the test item was determined by means of a rotational viscometer. The dynamic viscosity η was recorded at 20°C and two determinations were performed, for each determination 70 measuring points were taken. The measured dynamic viscosity of the test item was 3430 mPa s.

Description of key information

According to OECD Guideline 114 the mean value of 2 measurements for the dynamic viscosity was 3430 mPa s obtained at 20 °C.
