Additional information

The submission substance is not expected to partition significantly to sewage sludge, sediment or soil. This is deduced from a relatively low calculated Koc of 129.8 L/kg (using KOCWIN v. 2.00 within US-EPA´s EPI Suite software package v. 4.11 with the experimentally determined log Kow value of 2.48). Elimination in the environment will be rather slow, as the submission substance turned out to be not readily biodegradable and significant hydrolysis was obvious only at pH 9 and an elevated temperature of 50°C (half-life 2.99 days). Because of a log Pow value well below 3 (2.48), the potential for bioconcentration is assumed to be low for the submission substance.
