Additional information

Non-human data:

Skin irritation

In an acute skin irritation test chloro-cyano-p-tolyl-imidazole was applied to the skin for 4 h on the shaved skin of Himalayan rabbits. None of the 3 animals showed any substance related lesions after patch removal (60 min, 24 h, 48 h, 72 h) and was therefore considered as not irritating.

Eye irritation

In an acute eye irritation study chloro-cyano-p-tolyl-imidazole was investigated by instillation into the conjunctival sac of rabbits. In this study chloro-cyano-p-tolyl-imidazole was considered as not irritating.
