Description of key information

The effects of the substance on terrestrial organisms were investigated with terrestrial arthropods and birds. Furthermore, the assessment fors oil macroorganisms, terrestrial plants and microorganisms is based on the structurally analogue substance (CAS 1689-99-2).

The overall long-term NOEC for the soil macroorganisms except arthropods (Eisenia fetida) is 10 mg a.i./kg dry weight soil, from source study.

The 28-day NOEC for terrestrial arthropods (Folsomia candida) exposed to the present test material was 141 mg a.i./kg dry weight soil.

The NOER (14 d), determined in a vegetative vigor and in a seedling emergence studies, was 0.036 mg a.i./kg dws, according to source study.

The substance showed no effect on nitrogen transformation of the soil microflora up to 5.46 mg a.is./kg dry soil, according to source study.

Additional information

The LD50 and NOEC (5 days) for birds were estimated to be 1902 mg/kg bw/d and 1000 mg a.s./kg diet, respectively for C. virginianus.

The NOEC (14-d) was determined to be ≥211 mg/kg dry weight soil, for Hypoaspis aculeifer.

In pollinator study, investigating contact and oral toxicities, the LD50value of > 201 µg/bee was determined.
