Description of key information

The substance is hydrolytically stable based on an OECD TG 111, EPA 161-1, and JMAFF 8147 followed study. The half-life of the substance in the atmosphere by hydroxyl radical oxidation is estimated to be in a range of 3.4 – 14.0 hours (Atkinson method). For further risk assessment, DT50 = 14 h was used assuming the worst-case. Two studies on photodegradation in water performed according to standard guidelines are available. The DT50 was determined to be 17.5 days when adjusted to summer sunlight at 40°N at 25 °C. Three studies on photodegradation in soil performed according to standard guidelines are available. The DT50 was determined to be 162 days when adjusted to summer sunlight at 30-50°N at 20 °C.
