Conclusions:
The study was performed according to OECD TG 117 under GLP on the substance to be registered itself, the test procedure is well documented and therefore reliability of Klimisch 1 has been assigned. The analytical method was properly established.
The HPLC method at neutral pH was applied for the determination of the partition coefficient (Pow) of the test item. The test item – peak 2 – 24, i.e. the major components, gave a logPow > 7.2 (peak 1, minor component, logPow = 6.5). It can hence be expected that the actual logPow is much higher, a preliminary estimation for the trisulfide gave a logPow = 17.5 using the Rekker calculation method, and the substance is practically insoluble in water.
Executive summary:

The Partition coefficient (octanol/water) of the test item was determined according to EC A.24, OECD 117, OPPTS 830.7570 under GLP using the HPLC method to logPow : > 7.2 (major component).

Description of key information
