Additional information

One reliable key study is available on the reaction mass of 2,4,6 -tris(1 -phenylethyl)phenol and Bis(1 -phenylethyl)phenol for this endpoint.

In this study (KRACK, 2010), the thermal stability and the melting point of a mixture of DSP/TSP have been determined according to the OECD TG 102, 113 and the GLP.  The determinations have been carried out by differentialscanning calorimetry (DSC).

Thermal stability

The test itemin a closed glass crucible and in a closed stainless steel crucibleshowedno exothermal or endothermal effects up to the maximum temperature of 350°C.

Melting Point / Melting Range

The melting point of the test item at atmospheric pressure is -19.1°C.
