Description of key information

The MMAD (Mass Median Aerodynamic Diameter < 100 μm) of zinc, 5,5'-azobis-2,4,6(1H,3H,5H)-pyrimidinetrione complexes and melamine has a value fof 5.33 μm as spherical particles.

Additional information

According to OECD guideline 110 the particle size distribution of zinc, 5,5'-azobis-2,4,6(1H,3H,5H)-pyrimidinetrione complexes and melamine was determined by scanning electron microscopy method for the sieved fraction (< 100 µm, 14.22 % of total sample) and presented on the basis of calculated mass fractions. The median diameter was 5.33 µm with two main fractions of 6.87 and 92.66 % distributing in the range of 4 -100 µm.
