Additional information

Hydrolysis: Due to the poor water solubility of with zinc, 5,5'-azobis-2,4,6(1H,3H,5H)-pyrimidinetrione complexes and melamine a study does not need to be conducted

Biodegradation: As reported in two GLP and OECD guideline studies biodegradation of zinc, 5,5'-azobis-2,4,6(1H,3H,5H)-pyrimidinetrione complexes and melamine was at maximum 4.4% after 28 days and, thus, not readily biodegradable.

Bioaccumulation: No study needs to be conducted in the current tonnage band and a study would not be needed based on the low potential for accumulation indicated by log Kow. However, there is a study available which reports of no bioaccumulation.

Adsorption: A log Koc of 0.862 was experimentally determined according to OECD 121 and indicates a low potential for adsorption.
