Additional information

MMVF note Q fibres is sligtly water soluble through the non-reversible leaching of inorganic species.MMVF note Q fibres have a low potential for crossing biological membranes and the leached inorganic species will not pass into the lipid phase. Thus, MMVF note Q fibres will not bioaccumulate and biomagnify. MMVF note Q fibres and its leached inorganic species will not exert any effects in the environment and environmental organisms, including the microorganisms in sewage treatment plants.

Conclusion on classification

MMVF note Q fibres are considered harmless to the environment and to environmental organisms. MMVF note Q fibres shall not be classified as dangerous to the environment.
