Test conditions

Details on test conditions:
Old citrus soil (loam) were exposed to 2.5, 25, 250 and 1000 ppm methacrylic acid (one replicate of each concentration, one control) for 7 days at room temperature (20 - 25 °C).
Nominal and measured concentrations:
2.5, 25, 250 and 1000 ppm

Results and discussion

Details on results:
At a concentration of 1000 ppm Methacrylic acid, presumably < 85 % of bacteria and actinomycetes as compared to the control were killed.
