Conclusions:
The viscosity of Oxirane, mono[(C12-14-alkyloxy)methyl] derivs. / ERC Nr 17 decreases with increasing temperature from 9.97 mPa•s at 20 °C to 5.84 mPa•s at 40 °C. The viscosity does not depend on the shear rate. It can be stated, that Oxirane, mono[(C12-14-alkyloxy)methyl] derivs. / ERC Nr 17 is a Newtonian fluid.
Executive summary:

The viscosity of Oxirane, mono[(C12-14-alkyloxy)methyl] derivs. / ERC Nr 17 was determined at 20 °C and 40 °C according to the OECD Method No. 114 using a rotating cylinder viscosimeter.

The viscosity values did not vary with the shear rate within the limits of accuracy of the instrument. This indicates that Oxirane, mono[(C12-14-alkyloxy)methyl] derivs. / ERC Nr 17 is a Newtonian fluid. Oxirane, mono[(C12-14-alkyloxy)methyl] derivs. / ERC Nr 17 has a viscosity of 9.97 mPa·s at 20 °C and 5.84 mPa·s at 40 °C.

Description of key information

The viscosity of Oxirane, mono[(C12-14-alkyloxy)methyl] derivs. / ERC Nr 17 decreases with increasing temperature from 9.97 mPa•s at 20 °C to 5.84 mPa•s at 40 °C. The viscosity does not depend on the shear rate. It can be stated, that Oxirane, mono[(C12-14-alkyloxy)methyl] derivs. / ERC Nr 17 is a Newtonian fluid.
