Additional information

No data are available for bioaccumulation in aquatic or terrestrial species.

In accordance with column 2 of REACh Annex IX, a test assessing bioaccumulation in aquatic species (section 9.3.2) does not need to be conducted as the substance has a low potential for bioaccumulation (log Kow <3) and direct and/or indirect exposure of the aquatic compartment is unlikely.

In addition, asubstance can be classified as bioaccumulative if the Bioconcentration factor (BCF) exceeds 2000 L/Kg (ECHA, 2012c). Values predicted using EPISuite (BCFBAF) via the OECD QSAR Toolbox (v.3.1) ranged from 0.893 (upper trophic fish BCF) to 3.16 L/kg wet weight (BCF) (OECD, 2013). As a result, DEIPA is not expected to bioaccumulate.
