- According to column 2 of Annex IX of REACH, long-term toxicity testing shall be proposed by the registrant if the chemical safety assessment according to Annex I indicates the need to investigate further the effects on aquatic organisms. DEIPA is a miscible liquid and no adverse effects were seen in a reliable short-term toxicity test with freshwater invertebrates at up to 100 mg/L. Therefore, no long-term-testing shall be proposed.
