Description of key information

flash point of the test material (closed cup): 44 ± 2°C (corrected to a pressure of 101.325 kPa)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Flash point at 101 325 Pa:
44 °C

Additional information

The flash point was determined using a closed cup equilibrium method, Method A9 of Commission Directive 92/69/EEC (which constitutes Annex V of Council Directive 67/548/EEC).

The flash point of the test material has been determined to be 44 ± 2°C. The test substance 'Kerosine (Fischer-Tropsch), full range, C8 -16 - branched and linear' is therefore classified as flammable Cat. 3, H226 (according to Regulation 1272/2008/EC).
